Vicki Stewart joined the Dean’s Office staff in September 2008. She is responsible for administering all aspects of the DARS system for the five schools in the Scripps College of Communication; programming all changes in individual students’ reports; administering the graduation clearance process for undergraduates and granting of degrees; filing graduation clearance/denial reports in the Registrar’s Office; managing the probation process by reviewing reports and notifying students of their probationary status; processing all student services forms; and serving as the Dean’s Office contact for faculty advisors, administrators, staff, students, parents and outside parties for questions regarding student records and university policy and procedures.

Stewart has more than ten years of experience at Ohio University as administrative associate in student records, assistant to the associate director of undergraduate student affairs, and interim assistant to the director, all in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism; and as records maintenance specialist in the College of Medicine.

Vicki resides in Albany with her husband, Jim, who is a pastor. Vicki is the youngest of 17 children and has three children and three grandchildren. Vicki is very involved in her church and enjoys spending time with family. In addition, Vicki is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, an International Music Fraternity for women whose mission is to encourage, nurture and support the art of music.
