This is a very exciting time for the College. As you know, we celebrated the naming of the Scripps College of Communication at a dedication in September, and we are busy planning for a new College building on the site of the old Baker Center. This new facility will bring all of our faculty and students together into one integrated space, where students can learn in an environment that encourages creativity, team work and thinking outside the limits of traditional disciplines. This new facility will serve our growing College of almost 2,500 students – students who are better than ever, studying with outstanding faculty, engaging in research, participating in student organizations, and working with cutting-edge technology to prepare for successful careers and enriched lives.

Our students are at the heart of everything we do in the Scripps College of Communication, and they count on you to support the programs and initiatives that give their Ohio University experience academic capital. During the 2005-06 school year, private support from loyal alumni like you benefited students by funding scholarships, leadership development programs, competitions and interdisciplinary projects, and travel for research presentations.

You are also a part of this community. Your continued support of the Scripps College of Communication provides unrestricted dollars that help our students to achieve their full potential.
